CIPC security breach

It is with concern that we share this Media Release by CIPC that was issued on Friday 1 March 2024.

CIPC experienced an “attempted security breach” which resulted in certain personal information of its clients and employees having been unlawfully accessed and exposed. CIPC has indicated that compromise was isolated and has been curtailed and the mater is under investigation.

Until further notice of the extent of the security breach is published by CIPC we urge all entities and our clients registered with CIPC to remain vigilant with regard to any form of suspicious transaction.
